Beschreibung: Diese 37 ha Farm liegt in Paardeberg, einem Naturreservat auf halbem Weg zwischen Paarl und Malmesbury. Die Farm ist umgeben von den Nordostausläufern des Paardeberg und ca. 1 Autostunde von Kapstadt entfernt.

• Gegenwärtig gibt es 11,5 ha Weinberge und 13,5 ha offenes Land (z.B. für den Anbau von Shiraz geeignet). Auf den verbleibenden 12 ha gibt es 3 Dämme (32,800 m³), 2 Hühnerhäuser mit Betriebshof, ein reetgedecktes Farmhaus und einen alten Weinkeller. Das originelle altertümliche Farmhaus wurde 1825 erbaut und gilt als nationale Hinterlassenschaft der Vergangenheit. Der Blick von der Terrasse schweift über die wogenden Weizenfelder des Swartland bis hin zu den Bergen hinter Wellington.
   

• Die Weinberge tragen Red Globe Tafeltrauben (bewässert), 5 ha Chenin Blanc “bosstock” (unter Sprinklern) und 4,5 ha Chardonnay (tröpfchenbewässert / Netze).
   

• Die Hühnerfarm umfasst 2 staatlich kontrollierte Hühnerhäuser mit insgesamt 68.000 Hühnern. Es besteht die Möglichkeit vom Verkäufer weitere Hühnerhäuser auf anderen Farmen anzumieten.

Description: This 37 hectare farm is situated in the Paardeberg, a conservancy, midway between Paarl and Malmesbury. The farm is nestled in the gentle north-east facing slopes of the Paardeberg, about a hours drive from Cape Town.

• Currently 11,5 hectare are under vineyard, 13,5 hectare open land suitable for particularly Shiraz. The remaining 12 hectare consists of 3 dams (32,800 m³), 2 broiler houses with a standby plant, a thatch roof farmhouse and an old wine cellar. The quaint old farmhouse, build 1825, qualifies as a National Herritage monument and the view from the ‘stoep’ streches over the rolling wheatfields of the Swartland to the magestic mountains beyond Wellington.
   

• The vineyards consists of Red Globe (table grape) under irrigation, 5 hectare Chenin Blanc “bosstock” under sprinklers and 4,5 hectare Chardonnay, trelliced and under drip.
   

• The broiler enterprises two environmentally controlled broiler houses with a combined capacity of 68,000 chicks. There is an opportunity to rent more broiler houses on another farm from the seller.
