For Cape Town visitors Kenilworth is a well known place for its horse races. One of the major annual events is the Grand Met Race which attracts even international audience. Kenilworth itself is a middle class residential area whereas Kenilworth Upper is part of the noble neighbourhoods in Cape Town.
